Position: Education Supervisor



Type of employment: Full-time

Cesvi has been one of the first INGOs intervening in Libya, as soon as the Arab Spring began in 2011 and is carrying out a Humanitarian Protection Program in Tripoli and Misrata within different settings, included Education program since 2018.

Therefore, the Education Supervisor will work, in compliance with CESVI policies and Code of Conduct, closely with Persons of Concerns to UNHCR. He/She will be in charge of supervising the organization the Educational activities in the Social Centre.

Specific tasks and responsibilities:




Supervise the organization and the implementation of all the education-related activities in the Social Center;


Supervise teachers and trainers in the development of learning programmes and objectives;


Coordinate with UNHCR staff in the Community Development Centers and establish a strong referral system;


Coordinate and closely work with UNICEF staff in Social Center for the implementation of the activities and the organization of the classes;


Prepare and implement weekly and monthly schedules of the classes;


Support the organization of social events;


Participate in multidisciplinary teams, training, and meetings concerning, in particular, Education;


Maintain accurate records and prepare reports, document and share lessons learned and best practices;


Liaise with and make referrals to other agencies;


Represent CESVI in a professional manner in meetings and ensure good cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;


Assist in performing other tasks as requested by the Social Centre Manager, the Protection Manager or other relevant







Duty station: Tripoli



Responsible to: Social Center Manager in Tripoli, Protection Manager in Tunis.







Minimum requirements:




University degree in social work, social administration, social sciences, development studies, or a relevant field.


At least 1-year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental Organizations.


Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset.


Good understanding of Protection Principles and Case Management standards.


Good command of written and spoken English.


Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness campaigns.


Good computer skills especially Microsoft packages.


Good organizational and management skills.


Ability to work with minimum supervision.
