By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility for rapid response to emergencies. International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance.

Responsibilities &Tasks:
Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:1. The CHW will report to the medical Doctor (Physician).
2. She/he will work closely with the medical coordinator, other CHWs, and the Benghazi mobile medical team for successful develop and implement sensitization activities in IDP and other conflict-affected communities.
3. The CHW must be willing to carryout regular (up to daily) visits of targeted communities.
4. CHW will collaborate with M&E team to ensure capturing of activities in line with donor and internal requirements.
5. She/he will assist the medical team and other staff with other reports.
6. The CHW will assist staff with other activities and support as necessary.

The applicant must have the following qualification:

Has previous volunteering experience2. Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation Has a good network in targeted the community3. Has good communication skills and the capacity to facilitate presentations, meetings, and discussions concerning health4. and social issues5. Able to provide assistance to all individuals and nationalities6. Able to work independently with minimal supervision7. Able to provide feedback/reports regarding work-related activities8. Capacity to work as member of a team.9. Partnering and engaging with community stakeholders.10. Community Facilitation skills11. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with community and municipal representatives.12. High integrity.13. Partnering and engaging with stakeholders.14. Report writing skills.15. Networking and influencing skills.16. Highly reliable and dependable17. Able to speak in Arabic as well as English (other languages desirable)18. Passion for community wellbeing
