Job Title: IP Technician

Position: IP Technician (Instrumentation & Programmer)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as the administrator for all DCS and PLC systems in the field.
• Perform all maintenance and programming activities on the DCS system, mainly Siemens PCS7 and Siemens S7.
• Take responsibility for control systems lower than 230V AC.
• Take responsibility for compressor control systems i.e. vibration and compressor motor panel control.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all control network systems.
• Take responsibility for panel cable termination works.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years of experience on programming of PLC software
• Experience with configuration, programming, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of Siemens S5, S7 and SIMATIC PCS 7 systems.
• Good knowledge of PC software e.g. MS office
• Valid certificate of competence for work on equipment in hazardous areas will be helpful
• Valid driving license is needed.
