Information and Reporting Officer – Misrata - Libya Transition Initiative (LTI) 3

The Libya Transition Initiative 3 is an international development program in Libya. The goal of LTI 3 is to establish and manage a quick-response mechanism supporting activities that provide essential services to the community and reinforce stability to help build an inclusive and peaceful future in Libya.
LTI 3 seeks the following position to support its program in the Center Region, including Misrata and Sirte. Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are required for all positions.
Information and Reporting Officer (IRO)
The Information and Reporting Officer will play a key role in the information capturing and reporting of program activities. S/he will need to exert an important degree of independent judgment and initiative and be expected to collaborate and coordinate with all members of the team. Some of the duties include: managing an activity tracking database, including supervision of data entry, hardware program upgrades, and database submissions to the client. Ensuring that the database complies with the client’s database standards. Responsible for maintaining database accuracy, consistency and completeness, and generating of database reports and other printouts as directed by the client, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the program database. Utilize the information in the database and information from monitoring and evaluation reports in the field to compile appropriate reporting on program status and impact, including success stories, snapshots, press releases, weekly reports, quarterly reports, annual reports, and ad hoc reports on how the program responds to particular issues. Two years of demonstrated experience in the analysis of and reporting on program impact and implantation and a bachelor’s degree is required.
