LEGAL ADVISOR – SERVICE CONTRACT
Job Description
Looking for a judicial and legal advisor as part of the humanitarian activities of our NGO Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI). Our activities are implemented in Libya for now but the coordination with a supporting team is based in Tunisia, we must therefore abide by 2 legal frameworks.
If you are an experienced Lawyer, thanks to send us a quotation for your services within Libya and Tunisia.
The general objective for PUI is being able to contact you anytime for small or bigger issues and to obtain from our Legal Advisor a written legal advice with your recommendations and steps along with the risks we face in case we don’t follow your advice, and this, as soon as possible depending on the complexity of the issue. We therefore wish to obtain:
–          Legal advice on Labour Law
–          Legal advice on financial, accountancy, tax and customs law
–          Legal advice on Social Law (especially, social obligations as an employer)
–          Legal advice on the legal entry, stay and work of Expatriates and Immigrants
–          Legal advice on the law that guides NGOs’ rights and duties (NGO registration, reporting to authorities, VAT/customs exemption…)
–          Legal advice on any field that could or should be followed carefully by us or on any issue that may arise
–          Legal Assistance by a lawyer in case of legal action against PUI by a third party
 
Please note that All communication/services needs to be done in English: Fluent English speaking and Writing Mandatory
Benefits

Salary depending on the supplier’s prices and agreement

Job Requirements

Experienced Legal Advisor in Lybia and Tunisia Labor Law
Previous experience with INGOs required
Fluency in English and Arabic
