Job Description
Title: Database Officer
 
The project “Life Saving Assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Libya”, funded by UNHCR, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in both Western and Eastern Libya through protection monitoring, provision of psychosocial assistance, management of a Social Centre and capacity building for the Libyan civil society. The database officer is responsible overall for the timely and accurate data management of this programming.
 
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
 

Assist the Programme and Protection Manager in the overall information management of the Project activities
Maintain the digital and hard copy database to systematize all incoming informations;
Carry out timely statistical reporting as required by the programme and directed by the supervisor;
Provide specific data needed for ad hoc analysis as required by the supervisor;
Cross check data with other programme staff to ensure that reporting generated by the Protection team accurately reflects the situation;
Any other duties relating to nature of the job as may be requested by the CDC Manager and the M&E Team Leader for the best development of Cesvi activities.

 
Duty station: Tripoli
 
Responsible to: S/he will report directly to the CDC Manager in Tripoli and to the Project Manager in Tunis and technically to the M&E Team Leader in Tripoli.
 
Job Requirements
– Basic knowledge of Protection principles;
– Good experience with Data Management
