Title: Center Manager
Job location:Zwara, Libya
The project “Enhancing the resilience of vulnerable girls and boys in West Libya through access to quality education and PsychoSocial Support services”, funded by UNICEF, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for girls and boys affected by the crisis in Western Libya through protection monitoring, provision of psychosocial assistance, child protection services and safe learning environment.
Project areas of intervention:
Accessible IDPs communities in Zwara
Accesible host communities in Zwara
Accessible mixed migrants communities in Zwara
Cesvi Social Center
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, Admin.-Finance, HR and Logistic department , ensure a correct management of the project human recourses, logistic and administrative needs;
Under the supervision of Filed Coordinator in Tripoli coordinate supervise the work of a multidisciplinary program team, prepare work plans and liaison with supporting departments;
Ensure a strong coordination and follow the guidelines delivered by the responsible of Tripoli’s program teams: Outreach activity coordinator, Child protection supervisor, Education supervisor;
Ensure proper documentation at field level and sharing of all the appropriate documents with the Management Staff Tripoli and ensure that the project implementation strictly follows the approved plan;
Responsible for performance management of the project staff (including volunteers);
Organize regular weekly staff meeting and discuss weekly work plans;
In consultation with the Field Coordinator, child protection, education supervisor and outreach activity coordinator, ensure proper training and initiation of capacity building activities for project staff;
Represent CESVI in a professional manner in meetings and ensure good cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
Fulfil any other duties relating to nature of the job as may be requested by the Supervisor and any other relevant staff for the best development of Cesvi activities.
Program team tasks:
Outreach team: protection monitoring, communities field visits, awareness sessions and events
Child protection team: psychosocial support, child protection case management, positive parenting sessions
Education team: non formal education classes, teacher training
Meal team: data collection and analysis
Duty station: Zwara
Responsible to: He/She will report directly to report to Field Coordinator in Tripoli
