Main Tasks & Responsibilities

 

The Personal Assistant to Representative provides senior level communications, administrative and secretarial support, maintaining full confidentiality in all aspects of assignment, maintenance of protocol procedures, information flow and follow-up on deadlines and commitments made. The Personal Assistant to Representative also provides organizational functions to the CO in terms of providing effective communications support; ensuring facilitation of knowledge building and management; providing logistical support; and coordinating the secretarial services. S/he collaborates with other programme & operation teams within the UNFPA Country Office (CO)

S/he will be based in Libya CO- Tripoli and will report directly to the Representative. S/he will work in close collaboration with the Country Office programme team under the overall guidance from the CO Representative

 

Qualifications and Experience

Education

G- Bachelor Degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field is required

Knowledge and Experience

Two years of relevant experience in administration and/or office management is required.

Some experience in research assistance.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Proficiency in current office software applications and corporate IT financial systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Languages

Fluency in Arabic and English is required
