Discharge Manifold Equipment Inspector II - Halliburton Oilfield Services

Under general supervision of a DME Inspector III or DME Coordinator, this role will inspect, maintain, and rebuild a variety of discharge manifold equipment (DME). Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner as per Halliburton DME standards and guidelines, the candidate would need to have ASNT II (or equivalent) Visual (VT), Ultrasonic wall thickness (UT) & Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT) qualification as well as a high pressure hydrostatic test (PT) theory certificate. These disciplines are knowledge based and require hours performed as per ASNT (or equivalent) standards. The candidate would have completed all the necessary hours in each discipline and be deemed as competent in each aspect of the Non Destructive testing (NDT) criteria. Such as, UT (limited qualification) 40 hrs., PT 280 hrs., VT 140 hrs., MT 210 hrs., with a minimum 520 hrs. in NDT. A level II DME Inspector can inspect DME without supervision to ASNT II Standards (or Equivalent) and can sign off on the final QA/QC. Performs DME re-qualification inspections in accordance to meet Halliburton, customers’, and government entities’ standards, whichever is more stringent (e.g. SMEEM, STD-GL-HAL-PSL-501). Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed. This role requires a very high level of attention to detail, and analytical approach, and a good understanding of document control. A Secondary/High School diploma is required. Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in oilfield operations in DME inspection to ASNT II (or equivalent); must hold current qualification to ASNT II (or Equivalent) for UT, MT, VT and PT.
