Introduction

Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide. By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility for rapid response to emergencies. International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance.
 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WOR 
Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: 
Summary of Responsibilities:
 Conduct and coordinate physical assets verification of ALL offices.
  Gather and record asset details (brand, specification, serial number price etc)
  Preparations for valuation of assets in line with procurement procedures
.  Post consolidated asset repots to HQ database
 Prepare bid documents for disposal with support from procurement
 Reports compiled, generated, filed and shared with the different departments which returned the items.
 Consistence in reaching out to projects, disposing at local level for communities to benefit.
  Responsible for receiving assets from respective suppliers and ensure that the items received are as per the purchase order.
  Requesting the supplier to pick up defective items, or by arranging for transport to the supplier’s warehouse.
  Items received should be properly serialized or coded and stored in specific areas of the store for ease of retrieval. The stores officer ensures that received items are well stored in a safe manner.
  Perform the central receiving role in Provision and ensure timely submission of invoices to finance.
  Updating bin cards and stock cards daily, signing them off and balancing with the quantities in the shelves and it is a continuous process.
  Receiving, issuing and correctly locating items to the respective stake holders under appropriate stores regulations and documentation such store issue notes and proper signing in the store issue book in a consistent manner.
 Engraving and recording of all assets before issuing them out.
 Preparations for transportation of items to the field offices.
 Tracking of all assets received and update this on a continuous basis.
  Each issued item should be properly documented for future reference and accountability.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Minimum of 2-3 years’ professional experience in similar positions. INGO experience is an asset.
 Ability to work in a participatory manner with colleagues to problem-solve, with an analytical approach
  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work together other persons and employees.
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word and Excel, as well as email communications and other computer program
 
 Language Skills:
Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret, technical and non-technical in the English and Arabic languages.
  Ability to present information and respond appropriately to questions.
