The Company Announces its desire to recruit Project Engineer

Profile:

Complete construction and engineering projects by organizing and controlling all elements of a project.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
2. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
3. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
4. Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
5. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
6. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
7. Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
8. Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
9. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
10. Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
11. Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
12. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with country regulations.
13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
14. Collaborate with the Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods and maintain profitability.
15. Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project.
16. Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data.
17. Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures.
18. Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests.
19. Interpret clients’ requirements.
20. Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented.
21. Evaluate, organize and prioritize workload within a schedule.
22. Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose.
23. Take responsibility for a teams of engineers.
24. Determining client’s requirements and translating them into an actionable plan by a team of workers.
25. Organizing many tasks into a timeline.
26. Assuring that all deadlines are being met.
27. Making sure that all health, safety and legal requirements are being met throughout the process.
28. Responding to any client complaints, concerns or requests throughout the project.
29. Holding regular meetings to ensure that everything is going according to time and budget restrictions.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, required Excellent project management skills desired
2. Analysis and Design Skills,
3. Manufacturing Methods and Procedures,
4. Process Improvement,
5. Technical Understanding,
6. CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design
7. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Field and safety management experience a plus
9. Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
10. Ability to think big picture and take into account long-term implications of ones’ actions
11. Passion for looking for ways to improve individual and/or company performance.
