IFES Libya has a diverse program with activities carried out in collaboration with High National Election Commission. The Air Conditioning System Installation Supervisor will be asked to
- Study and evaluate vendors’ offer, plans, conditions and specifications of the implementation of the air-conditioning system in the High National Election Commission media center.
- Responsible for planning, inspecting, and assigning job schedules for all related air conditioning system installation work.
- Monitoring the quality of materials and installation of the air-conditioning system.
- Aid in the oversight of the installation of the air-conditioning system.
- Initiate requisitions for air-conditioning supplies and equipment received from the vendor in the HNEC HQ.
- Maintain inventory, orders, and materials for daily operations of the installation of the air conditioning system.
- Maintain records and provide work order support for a timekeeping system
- Ensure that all work is as stipulated in the contract between IFES and the executing vendor.
- Supervising the implementation of the project works as stipulated in the contract between IFES and the executing vendor.
- Performs other duties assigned related to the implementation of the air-conditioning system.
Place of Performance
The Air Conditioning System Installation Supervisor will be based in Tripoli, Libya
Reporting Requirements
The Air Conditioning System Installation Supervisor will report to the IFES Libya Deputy country director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Energy engineering, a Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience working on similar projects
- Strong technical knowledge in air-conditioning systems
- Strong analytical, communication and project coordination skills
- Good command of Arabic is a requirement
- Good writing skills and ability to write and review technical deliverables and reports
