Creative Design Installation Supervisor - International Foundation for Electoral Systems

IFES Libya has a diverse program with activities carried out in collaboration with High National Election Commission. The Creative Design Installation Supervisor will be asked to:

Study and evaluate vendor’s offers, plans, conditions and specifications of the implementation of HNEC creative design in the media center.
Study the project contract and the plans, conditions, and specifications of the implementation of the works.
Supervising the implementation of the project works as stipulated in the contract between IFES and the executing vendor.
Monitoring the quality of materials and construction processes of HNEC MC Compound entrance graphics, External light pole banners, Directional signs, Parking signs, Graphics around MC building entrance, Indoor branding, Graphics around VIP entrance, Official pole flags, Mobile pop-up/press walls, Rollups, Internal informational and directional signage, Badges and lanyards, Panel table, Chairs, Podium, Information desk, and high chairs and Brochure Racks.
Accomplish project goals by resolving problems, evaluating deadline estimates and adjusting as needed, and implementing change orders.
Performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
Ensuring multiple vendor teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
Follow-up on the implementation of the work in workshops and other places where raw materials related to the project are obtained.
Ensure that all work is as stipulated in the contract between IFES and the executing vendor.
Scheduling regular meetings with vendor managers, and HNEC MC responsible staff. Attend meetings held at the project site to resolve any problems between the HNEC and the vendor.
Prepare a weekly progress report.
Prepare a report before the final delivery phase followed up by a final report at the end of the project.

Place of Performance
The Creative Design Installation Supervisor will be based in Tripoli, Libya
Reporting Requirements
The Creative Design System Installation Supervisor will report to the IFES Libya Deputy country director.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in civil construction engineering or architecture, a Master’s degree is a plus
Minimum 4-5 years of experience working on similar projects
Strong technical knowledge in air-conditioning systems
Strong analytical, communication and project coordination skills
Good command of Arabic is a requirement
Good writing skills and ability to write and review technical deliverables and reports
