Researcher – Libya
The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) seeks several Researchers in Libya.  ABA ROLI’s mission is to promote justice, economic opportunity and human dignity through the rule of law.
The Researcher will report to a Senior Program Advisor and/or a Senior Technical Advisor based in Tunis and will be assisted by Tripoli-based Libyan staff.  They will be responsible for in-country key informant interviews for three major assessments.  The Researchers should ideally have the following skills and background:

Excellent written and spoken English skills (required);
Experience carrying out key informant interviews for major research projects;
Substantive background related to human rights in Libya;
Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team as well as take initiative when appropriate;
Ability to travel to Tunisia as well as within Libya.
