Cesvi has been one of the first INGOs intervening in Libya, as soon as the Arab Spring begun in 2011 and is carrying out a Humanitarian Protection Program in Tripoli and Misrata within different settings, included Child Protection program since 2016. The project “Life Saving Assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Libya” funded by UNHCR, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in Tripoli through Protection monitoring and referrals to targeted services. The Community-based Case Worker will be in charge of identifying and monitoring community-based care solutions for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Tripoli and surrounding areas area. Specific tasks and responsibilities: University degree in psychology, social work, social administration, social sciences, development studies, or a relevant field is an asset. At least 1 year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations Experience in handling cases is an asset. Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset. Previous experience of work with migrant and refugee communities is an asset. Good understanding of Protection Principles and Case Management standards Good command of written and spoken English. Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness campaigns Good computer skills especially Microsoft packages. Good organizational and management skills.
