Inspection & Corrosion Engineer. - Mabruk Oil Operation

Location: Tripoli.

Department: Field Operation.

Activities:

1. Incumbent follow up  Field inspection & corrosion activities of Al Jurf field, with special emphasis on quality and efficiency in the daily conduct of MOO inspection & corrosion operations.
2. Follow up and manage all requirements for Farwah classification & interfacing between class and flag administration
3. To act as focal person on integrity matters to bridge communications with all parties in MOO, Headquarters, and contractors/vendors.
4. To assure compliance with Group rules and specifications on integrity,.
5. To monitor inspection and maintenance activities in GMS related to Farwah & BD1 integrity and produce monthly report on job completion, backlog status & issue recommendations.
6. To update Farwah inspection and corrosion data base whenever required.
7. Set up and monitor 10 year inspection/maintenance plan related to Farwah & BD1 integrity.
8. To conduct regular internal audit on offshore assets inspection as required.
9. Translate MOO’s inspection policy into inspection plans and programs and ensure follow up.
10. Provide assistance to projects whenever required by his hierarchy.
11. Analyze and consolidate reports from contractor inspectors and issue technical reports when necessary.
12. Follow up the global shape of the facilities: analyze failures and corrosion trends and issue recommendations.
13. Follow up all inspection & corrosion monitoring programs and preventive activities.
14. Analyzes corrosion related failures or problems, conducts or performs studies and proposes or validates solutions.
15. Implement the applications of safety and environment standards established by the corporate HSE entity.
16. Participate and follow up underwater inspection scope and supervise the campaign for Aljurf field whenever requested by the company rule or the class requirement.
17. Promotes the development of group know how by feedback of experience and proposes solutions in case of technical problems.
18. Follow up contracts relevant to Classification requirement, corrosion and field inspection activities.
19. Compliance to Classification Requirement and validity of Class certificates.
20. Participate at his relevant position in the emergency situations that may occur within the affiliate

Education: B. Sc. Chemical or Material Engineering ,

Professional experience: Minimum of 5 years onshore experience related to corrosion and inspection.

Skills:  Computer literate, good English Language.
