Main Purpose of the Position |
The PROJECT COORDINATOR will ensure the operation of the project from start to finish, including initial project activities, planning, monthly internal and final reports, and implementation of CBT distribution and support activities, reviews, and project closeout. |
Hours of work |
Sunday to Thursday, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm |
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees project activities and is the primary point of contact for field staff on technical aspects.
- Oversees the development and execution of project deliverables, project planning, action plans, and monitoring.
- Is responsible for Daily and weekly data collection based on developed indicators.
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirements.
- Develop and maintain a project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
- Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output.
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to the project work plan
- Ensures that planning, execution of activities, as well as reporting are in accordance with the policies and regulations of the donor.
- Ensures close collaboration and coordination with partners to ensure smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in the grant.
Required skills and qualifications.
- At least Two years of field experience in program management and coordination
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Ability to work well in unstable and frequently changing security environments.
- Proven ability to work creatively and independently both in the field and in the office.
