Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the sales process, understanding customer needs, and providing company’s products and services (Internet, IT, and Digital solutions) to meet those needs & sell them to businesses, organizations and individuals sectors, as well as you will develop and deliver presentations and proposals, and negotiate contracts with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting for new business leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations.
- Negotiate contracts with customers.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Track and manage sales performance.
- Communication with existing customers and partners, also build relationships with them.
- Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions.
- Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.
- Collaborate effectively with other sales team members, marketing professionals, and technical experts to achieve shared sales objectives.
- Handling customer orders and preparing, delivering sales proposals, quotations, and invoicing.
- Playing a role in the sales profits and gains of the HTI along with payment collections.
- Conduct market research to find & identify new potential customers, generating leads and opportunities.
- After-sales customer support management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience ranging from two to three years.
- Strong understanding of products, services, and technologies, including network architecture, connectivity solutions, and cloud-based offerings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to identify and address customer objections and concerns.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with potential and existing customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Good in English (reading, writing & speaking).
