Background on Cesvi:


Cesvi is a non-governmental, international humanitarian organization working for global solidarity in 30 countries throughout the world. Cesvi has been working in Western and Eastern Libya, with support from international donors and cooperating with local counterparts, since March 2011 in the following sectors: i) Protection related issues ii) humanitarian assistance iii) civil society support iv) refugees, asylum seekers and migrants program v) capacity building
Background on the project
The project “Life Saving Assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Libya” funded by UNHCR, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in both Western and Eastern Libya through protection monitoring, provision of psychosocial assistance, and management of a Social Centre. Cesvi Outreach Monitoring Officer will work, in compliance with Cesvi policies and Code of Conduct, closely with Persons of Concern, mainly refugees, asylum seekers and their families. She will be in charge of conducting monitoring visits, assessing the protection situation of refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in Tripoli and surrounding areas. The Outreach Officer will also be the focal point for community events.







Specific tasks and responsibilities:







Handling items on arrival to the warehouse (Offloading):




Handling items with care on offloading from trucks.


Keep accurate count of items received in coordination with the Warehouse Logistics.


Work with other colleagues in good coordination during offloading to increase efficiency.


Report Warehouse Management of any observations during offloading.

Adequate storage of item in the warehouse (Storage):




Insure efficient use of the warehouse space.


Clearly divide item of different types into dedicated spaces.


Properly stock items next or on top of each other as seen appropriate, in a way insuring their integrity.


Inform the Warehouse Management of any observations regarding stored items.



Handling items for dispatches (Uploading) :




Handle item with care during uploading.


Keep count of items uploaded in coordination with the Warehouse Logistics.


Work with other colleagues in good coordination during uploading to increase efficiency.


Report Warehouse Management of any observations during uploading.







Other duties




Follow with precision any instructions from the Warehouse Manager.





Duty station: Tripoli.





Responsible to: Hierarchically and functionally to Warehouse Logistic officer and ultimately to the Warehouse Manager.





Minimum requirements:







Primary school.



At least 1-year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations



Experience in warehouse work (unload, load, counting).



Reasonable command of English.



Good communication skills.



Good computer skills especially Microsoft packages.



Good organizational skills.



Ability to work with minimum supervision
